My 20 years of experience in the dental field made me adhere to a philosophy of practice that included professionalism, integrity, compassion and teamwork. I have been working for two years at Dr. Gistaro’s office as a registered dental hygienist because we share the same core values and principle in patient care. I do not just see patients everyday- they are actually “visiting” extended family. The three generations of patients I see regularly made me realize that they found themselves a “second home”, like I did – a warm, friendly and comfortable place.

I like working with Dr. Gistaro because I enjoy meeting the vast array of people that come through our door and continue to amaze and awe me. What interaction I miss working in the lab I make for assisting. It is always a pleasure helping people through their dental experience...and the doctor is great too! I got into dentistry is because a friend told my sister-in-law how much she like being a dental assistant. After enrolling in school I learned about working in dental labs, which I really enjoy. During a maternity break I wanted to go back to assisting and was fortunate enough to be able to come back to Dr Gistaro’s office.
