Meet the Staff

Dr. Nicholas Gistaro received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Boston College and his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Medford, MA in 1979. He began his private practice in Chula Vista, CA after three years in the United States Navy, where he was stationed at the Naval Training Center in San Diego. A public lecturer, Dr. Gistaro has been in practice for 27 years.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, all of its component societies and the Chula Vista Rotary Club. As part of his community work, his dental office provides services to the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center.

An avid sports fan, Dr. Gistaro’s hobbies include skiing, softball, bowling, race walking, water sports and youth athletics. He has three daughters.
